After almost a quarter year of complete silence from the story, I've finally gotten around to posting a new chapter!
Worlds Reset isn't quite the type of story that you'd normally expect when someone says "sci-fi". There aren't any robots, for one-- and there definitely isn't much anything along the lines of cyberpunk.
A plain and simple, high-contrast cover for a plain and simple, high-contrast (potential) story.
In all seriousness, I really haven't had much drive going anymore for this story. I don't want it to drag on any longer, but at the same time I don't wish to cancel it like I have for just about every other story that this has happened to.
So.
It's kinda obvious from these past couple months that Worlds Reset is far out of my center of focus at this point. I've changed my plans from treating the story as flagship-status to seeing it as any other story, as well as tightening up the timeframe for the story.
Amber once dreamed of a world she could shape as her own.
Now, that dream is her nightmare and the world's reality.
A spiritual successor to Pony-Me™.
So. Worlds Reset.
My next major story is currently in the works, but as far as story planning and direction goes, I've been getting split opinions from my prereaders.
Would you rather read Worlds Reset as a nearly-direct sequel to Pony-Me? Even if it would require the retconning of several major events in the story for the sake of letting the existence of Worlds Reset's protagonist even *exist*?
Go read it or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
